Food: good food, large menu, large buffet

Price: Priced Slightly High

The Food: Great tasting, fresh seafood, very large portions

Price: cheap price for portions

Service: timely, and friendly

Over-all Experience: tight quarters, doesn't look like much but has great food and friendly service

Unique food on the menu: Sea food, pasta, sandwiches, burgers, pizza and of course BEER

Atmosphere: relaxed casual 

Specialties: Known for their specialty beers

The food:  Taste and Quality: Great food and good variety of menu items
            
 Price: Average
  
Service: It’s okay but it can at times be hard to find your waitress on busy nights

The overall experience: Good place to go with friends if you’re not on a time schedule

Taste/ Quality: Great Food, I got drunken noodles.

Price: Reasonable $5 to $20 for a dish

Service: Good prompt service

Overall Experience: 7.5 out of 10

Atmosphere: Everybody- college kids, middle aged, seniors

Taste/ Quality: Good food, they give huge portions

Price: Cheap prices for the amount of food you get.

Service: Delivery service available, quick service

Overall Experience: 7.5 out of 10

Unique food on the menu: Homemade Subs

Atmosphere: good mix of everyone I would say mostly middle aged women and men grabbing a quick lunch.
Specialties: N/A

Taste/ Quality: pretty good subs homemade quality and taste

Price: normal price for a sub 4-7 dollars

Service: decent service some of the subs are premade and ready for pick up and drive thru’s

Overall Experience: 6.5 out of 10

Amato’s

Type: Italian (Subs, Pizza, Salads, etc.)

Unique food on the menu: Many different types of subs pre made pizza’s calzones pazzo and salads.

Atmosphere: A little bit of everyone mainly take out not too many seats.

Specialties: N/A

Taste/ Quality: Great food. I got the Amato’s original sub. Homemade Italian oil they put on it is great!

Price: prices are cheap you can get a meal for $5

Service: Friendly Atmosphere and fast service

Overall Experience: 8 out of 10

Unique food on the menu: Various Chinese food

Atmosphere: Older Folks some college kids

Specialties: N/A

Taste/ Quality: The food was decent had a lot of different choices to choose from

Price: Buffet is priced around $10 which is a good deal

Service: Buffet, little service provided as needed

Overall Experience: 6.5 out of 10

Unique food on the menu: Variety of Seafood

Atmosphere: Families, middle aged to senior citizens

Specialties: No real specialty

Taste/ Quality: Excellent Seafood I got a platter of fried seafood and it was great!

Price: Fair prices for seafood but be prepared to spend 15-20.

Service: Fast and Friendly service

Overall Experience: Good time about 8 out of 10

Type: Sports bar and Grill

Unique food on the menu: Buffalo Chicken Breadsticks, Steak & Cheese Breadsticks, Burgers, Seafood, Wings, Nachos, Steak Tips, Pizzas, Subs, and Pasta Dishes.

Atmosphere: Has something for everyone, Sports fans, Families, College Students, and Adults

Specialties: Daily Beer Specials, and their private banquet room available for rent.

Taste/ Quality: Excellent

Price: Good reasonable cheap prices

Service: Excellent

Overall Experience: Enjoyable

Atmosphere: Nice place to bring bring family or just a date.

The Food:
Taste & Quality: Very Delicious! I hadn't tried the dishes but it was well worth it, very tasty. 9/10
Price: Very affordable. 8.5/10
Overall experience: Service was good, very helpful when making new decisions, glad I tried it, would definately go there again. 9.5/10

Central Street Cafe

Central Street Cafe 
Type: a small eatery in downtown Bangor. 
Unique Food: They offer all types of food but they only serve breakfast and lunch. They have great deals especially on breakfast. 

Atmosphere:All types of people can be found at this cafe including students, business people, random bored people, and families. It is fairly quiet but it close quarters as all of the tables are pretty close together.  

Food: You get your own drinks from either the coffee dispensers in the front or the cooler. The food is always great and they rarely forget special requests. I suggest the chicken quesadilla and french fries. 

Price: Reasonable– Can get an entire breakfast plate for pretty cheap

Service: The service there is unique as you order at the front desk and your food is brought to you where ever you chose to sit (there is no hostess it is all seat yourself). When you are finished you can either leave your plates on the table or take them to the front where there is a bucket for silverware and plates.

Overall Experience: 8 out of 10

Type: Italian food, sandwiches, pasta, wraps, dinners.

Atmosphere: Very busy, small little eating area.

The Food:
Taste & Quality: Delicious! Served fresh and well worth the price. Calzones you can get multiple meals out of, delcious salads, pizza and sandwiches. 9/10

Price: reasonably priced, nothing outragous. Appropriate prices for portion. 9/10

Overall experience: Nice place to eat, very friendly people, delicious food, lots of variety. 9/10

Location: Good location, easy to get to. Limited parking however. Not too far from everything. 8.5/10

Type: Take out style with limited optional seating


Unique food on the menu: great cheap sandwiches and pizza, there is always a special


Atmosphere: relaxed casual


Specialties: known for their daily specials, cheap prices and good food


The food:
            Taste and Quality: The food is good mostly sandwiches, wraps, soups and pizza. 

           
Price: Cheap


Service: Takeout style, order and pick up at counter and pay on the way out


The overall experience: Good place to go for a quick bit to eat with friends or to get takeout on a budget

L'Aperitif

L'Aperitif 

Type: A self-described "Tapas restaurant and Eurolounge." 

Unique Food: They offer Tapas style dining which is several small plates (some people may call them appetizers) and they have a full bat set up "european" style. 

Atmosphere: It is a nice place with large couches or tables, it is dimly lit and is more on the fine dining side. 

Specialties: They have a jazz pianist on Wednesdays and Fridays

Food: The food is tasty and different and they have gourmet drinks as well as some nights offering drink specials on wine and beer. 

Price:The entrees are slightly pricey, you probably won't pay less than $20 per entree.  

 Service: The service was pretty good when I went but they had newly opened so it may have even improved since then. 

Overall Experience: 8 out of 10

Dysart's

Dyart's

Type: Truckstop/ Family 

Unique Food: The food is good home cooking/truck stop fare at really reasonable prices. 

Atmosphere: Open 24 hours it depends on what time you go. Large variety of people ranging from truckers to grannies to kids

Food:You can get a killer ham salad sandwich on their home made breads or a really big ice-cream sunday. They make their own beans and also look for the cookies. They also have an array of baked goods including their famous pies for sale. 

Price: Fairly cheap but good food.

Service: Depends on what time you go. Servers get tired when it's 3 AM.

Overall Experience: 7 out of 10

BoBo Chinese Restaurant

Type: Chinese Restaurant. Available for take out, delivery, and eat in.


Atmosphere: Very quiet, casual, but you could dress up.


The food:
            Taste and Quality: Wasn't the best chinese food I've ever had. The portions were HUGE!  6/10

           
            Price: A little pricey... 7/10


The overall experience:  the atmosphere was kind of awkward, it was pretty empty,the people were nice and I got about 3 meals from one order. 8/10.


Location: Sketchy location, beside a tanning salon and in a nook, but its easy to get to. 7.5/10
